This is the car I think of when I see that chassis.

I'm going to guess spring upgrades for the You-G Hornet rear shocks. Look to be right about the correct size.

EDIT: I may be wrong, though, as I always thought these were You-G Hornet shocks....

So, who can ID this relatively recent touring chassis? Came in a lot, which also included some Venom radio gear, and there are Venom decals all over the body... but searching the 'net fails to find anything for Venom Touring or Venom Drift that matches....

Image

Hoping to work out what it is as it looks like it's missing a part over the rear spur gear area.... but other than that, it should make a very simple basher chassis.

Don't worry on this one, got the answer on another forum. For those playing at home..... it's an Academy STR-4, the base model, not the carbon bling alloy version.... apparently, Venom bought the rights from Academy and released their own version in the early 2000s..... so now I know.

I compared them and they would surely fit.

I though it was a tether car, but it's not. I suspect it is a very early RC or a converted from tether car to RC. It's going for $900 it will be interesting to see how much it goes for.

Hey guys, bought a car and parts off ebay and it also came with a box of mystery parts not associated with the car I got, Anyhow came across these hub/carrier looking things?

Anyone know what they are, or hell maybe their not even RC related :?

Also were these Buds racing products motors, Yeah I know their motors..... But I really couldn't find any info about them?

I'm familiar with some of their other products, brush sets, wing wires, other misc items.

But just not to keen about their motors? Anything special or just a sticker.

The green label is a Yokomo.
The clear label is a Trinity.

Thanks, Dave
