Bought this CD the day after posting that and I haven't heard this fresh of a sound in probably 2-3 years(The Airborne Toxic Event self titled CD was the last). There aren't many offerings from this CD on youtube because it's too new, but here's one. The entire CD is Associated Gold IMHO. Obviously a home made vid, but entertaining in a way.

Agreed. Music and movies have become so huge and easily accessible that it's tough to weed thru the garbage. I really do think that there's as much great music being made now as ever, but it gets drowned out by the massive corporate toilet flush that we're forced to feed off of. Of course I'm no industry expert by any stretch, but I'm a life-long music fan and I certainly know what I do or do not like. Yep. Fortunately, I have never been one to like what was considered 'mainstream'. I'm all for a good show, but most of the corporate crap is nothing but a show with little or no talent. I still cannot believe what most people consider good just because it is on the airwaves or has a huge number of hits on youtube. You try and turn those people onto stuff like what I posted, and they just can't understand.
I've heard that tune a lot recently on a one of a kind radio station we are fortunate to have in Louisville: 91.9 WFPK. Little did I know until looking it up on youtube, that group has a female singer! She really has soul with the way she gets into this tune.
