Look like Bolinks that have been dyed orange.

Here's a set of whites: http://tinyurl.com/kszmhol

If you zoom in you can see they've got the same dimples around the bearing holes.

A good example of why the space aliens, with their super-advanced knowledge and technology, think the human race is not worth making contact with.

It looked too cool to pass up... What does it fit lol!

There were some electric conversions for rc250 made bitd.....and this looks overbuilt for a 1/12 or 1/10....

I saw that but had no idea what it was for either. Looks too long to be a 1/12 or 1/10 pan car rear pod but it also seems a little too narrow for an RC250 doesn't it? I was guessing maybe an early drag racer.

I couldn't figure out the weld line down the middle (if that's what it is). Thinking maybe it's cast aluminum or magnesium since a machined part one could've been done in one piece. Unless it was wider for the RC250 and someone handy cut it and skinnied it up. :o

that was probably made with two pieces of angle aluminum, then welded together. Much less work than to machine down a huge block of aluminum. I know because that's how I would do it 8)

I would've made it in 3 pieces and just used screws.

I've had these diff parts for years and have no idea what any of them fit:

Image

The top middle outdrive(threaded inside the shaft part) fits inside the top left outdrive, but they're different width drive cup areas.

The piece on the top right is a sprocket held on with setscrews that are stripped so I can get it off. The inside of the top shaft portion is threaded.

The bottom left outdrive fits inside the middle diff half and is held in place with a setscrew. But the bottom left outdrive is shorter than the other one and doesn't have a flat spot.

Bottom is a Thorp Scorpion diff. It's the sprocket one I don't recognize.
