Good news guys! Just spoke with Robinson, I will be selling the idlers and shafts direct. They will mail them to me and I'll ship out. Pricing is the same plus shipping will be based on paypal payment. If you pay as a gift it can go cheap first class but I'm not responsible. If paid as a purchase it has to go priority with insurance. I'm not making but a couple bucks so any loss would be major. This is via both USA sales and international. The first class US mail starts at about $3, instead of the $12.50 that Robinson quoted based on ups shipping. Yet another option for everyone! I have 8 presold, so message me if you need a set and I'll get you on the list. Should be arriving by the end of the week.

I now have most things in place for my build of the Ten4. I bought a re release worlds car to use as a base, and I have most of the small bits and pieces on the way. I have ordered shock towers and the Robinson parts from gomachv, so the only major parts left are the Shapeways parts, the belt, and the longer nose tubes (can I order a pair from you mk-zero?)

The problem for me will be the Shapeways parts. I have ordered from Shapeways before, and the only shipping solution they offer to Norway is UPS, and they charge a huge fee for customs processing. So I was wondering if any respected member here, living in the US, would be so kind to act as a "middle man" for me for the Shapeways order? If you already are about to order a set of parts for yourself, I could PayPal you $$$ for a second set, and when you get it, you'll send it to me as a "gift" with the normal USPS service. Any help with this will be appreciated.

Tom

If your going to get the nose tubes from Brian (and I think he is gonna have another small trick up his sleeve so stay tuned!) he may be able to supply the shapeways parts. Not trying to nominate him, but he would have the best connection on the parts.

Yeah, i can help you out with that when the time comes, no problem.

The other thing Jeff was talking about i plan to offer is a Ten4 hardware kit that will include the shaft, bearings and retainer screw for the rear belt guide, as well as the nose tubes. The nose tubes will be avalable separately too, of course.

I don't see why not. I still have to make some nose tubes, I think that's the last thing.

What motor running in it. Wonder with the extra parts if you could go lower than a 8.5 like they recomend for the stealth. 6.5 or 5.5 anyone?

That's an 8.5. I run a 7.5 in my b44.3, and I'm sure the Ten4 could handle that no problem. For now though the 8.5 will do ;)

I spoke with Lunsford yesterday and he is making us some turnbuckle kits (basically original worlds lengths) and some hingepin kits (standard but without kingpins as we don't need them). Kits can be ordered over the phone or send a message thru the website. Really what this build down to is that if you call asking for Ten4 related stuff, they know what it is
