Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
Any ideas about where the gold wing mounts come from on Masami's car? Never seen these before.

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
Asso_ man been searching for the same. Here's what I came up with so far. Looks to be a yokomo part from the the later 834b. Part number ZC-107h but looks like there was a production change on part as some point. PM me if you come up with any leads and I will do the same.

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
OK thanks, that's where I saw them once. According to teh thread you mention they should be part number ZD-107H, specific wing buttons for the WCS. Not easy to find I guess...

Wheels look right, but it's always hard to tell by photo. Header card on wheels say 12mm offset. Hope that helps

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
These are probably 2.2" where 2.1" were used in '91. The ones on Masami's car are the ROAR ones and have 4 holes in the middle. He also trimmed the outside lips (inner and outer) to get more side grip and lightened them with quite a lot of holes. Pics can be seen in the RC10 buggy forum sticky thread.Peakey wrote:Are these the rear wheels I need ?

Definitely the ZD-107H part number in websteves link, though there are picture's also showing these ZC-107H on his older 4wd.

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
Seriously Aaron is there a yokomo part you don't have?
Check link out, maybe I'm confused on part number
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=24261
I figured eventually I would have to cough up some big bucks and have them machined. Hey, If enough guys need these wing buttons maybe we can have a small batch machined and anodized?

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
I just got a text message from Kelly, he wants me to test fit the stealth buckles and pins to make sure they are 100%. He said actual part numbers will then be assigned so no more trying to explain what you are looking for. I'll update soon

They are gold as well but much taller with a extra basis at the top.
Could it be that you don't have that part? Lol

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
I´ve got the zc-107h version and they seem to have a bigger diameter than the ones on Websteves Stealth pictures.alien3t wrote:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yokomo-ZD-107-Vintage-WCS-RC10-Team-Associated-Rare-Wing-Buttons-/121514533728?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c4ad4a360

The ZD´s You´ve linked to, seem to have the same diameter as my ZC´s, ergo too big on the "shaft" part?
Mine could be 5,4 mm on the "shaft" part - the ones on the Stealth pictures could be 1mm thinner?
The lower part angled finish on the Stealth pictures seems to be different too?
Running changes in production?
Gone fishing

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
Dennis at first I thought it could be just an optical illusion but I think your right. I just compared the two and the cylinder portion is defiantly a smaller diameter. Good eye Dennis
