Thanks for the idea, Mr. Ed. I might try the plasma edge. So any DF02 body should be pretty close. I'll have to search around and see what else they offer.

I think most car that have a stick pack on one side and the moter on the other will fit more or less ok.
The lazer zx5 might work also for example and looks a little more square like the original

if you don't have an undertray yet... jump on the above occasion.
Finding a usable top isn't so hard, but a fitting undertray for the wide chassis is a whole other story.
And this is not the type of chassis that can be run without an undertray unless you run indoor carpet only

I have the undertray and wing. So it would be nice to have the original body to match. I wouldnt be opposed to a lightly used body either.

Thought I would put up another pic of the car in need. :) I don't think I've seen any other MX-4's with the solid backbone. Was this a aftermarket part?

I've never seen yellow MX-4 wheels before, dyed?
Mine has a solid backbone also (no idea where it came from)

I noticed that most are white, but they do not appear to be dyed. It also has the gold CVD's witch I dont think were original either. I would love to see a ad for this car if anybody has one.

if you have an uncut plazma edge body: leave the rear lower portion and only start cutting after you fit it more or less. The original trim lines will leave it a little short.
I have an original upper body I don't mind selling. It is in relative good state but the paintjob is far from the best.
Unfortunately shipping from belgium is stupid expensive though so you better get that other offer

I think the gold CVD's are the alloy upgrades from Yokomo.

Well upon closer inspection, the wheels were painted. They were never ran and didn't have any scratches. I put some Citristrip on them and a little scraping with a Popsicle stick and good as new! :)

you need some V-headed screws to fit the countersinks. The paintjob on those wheels looked really well done, but experience tells me it's not good for a runner.
Dyeing is better but the boiling might release some stress in the wheel and make them wobble
