I'm Dave H over yonder. Not hiding, it just was one of my first forums, hadn't yet managed to come up with a nickname like so many others seemed to have. My meager attempt to sound hip, which I highly doubt is even possible for a Frank Zappa nut case like me. It was either that or Ripple from the Grateful Dead/Robert Hunter.

Actually due to a clear cut case of racer fraud at last years Chi Town Shootout, at the local tracks I and my little team are now known as The Real Bongo Fury Racing Team.

RCtech.net is one of those I frequent but most of the stuff I see seems like 12yr olds posting the same stuff. I get frustrated with questions about BL and lipo being asked in an offroad forum when there is a specific ELECTRONICS section. And I guess its typical complaints about most forums, people who fail to do a SEARCH or they have a question with slight variation so they feel it necessary to start a whole thread even though 8 other threads with similar or like problems have already been started.

I have to give props to THIS forum for making it very organized and easy to find information. If I have a BUGGY ?, you can bet I can find info in the BUGGY section. I like the expanded sub-groups for other mfgers as well.

and yes, its MOMO on RCtech.

My Screen name in the RCTech.net is tecniquin2001... :D

I mostly frequent the RCHR forum off course, and somethimes the LIR forum in Electric Off road.

I get most of my info from RC10talk....

And the fact that I met a lot of you personally, at the VONATs, it makes this website like home... :D

If you "quote" Momo's post, the entire link will show. Cut/paste it into your address bar and all should be good.

If that doesn't work, we all meet up at Hoopty's and hunt down Momo with pitchforks and torches!

That seems a little overkill. Why don't you leave the Zweihander at home this time. :P

Heck, bring the Zweihander and customs won't be a problem!

Speaking of customs, have you seen Witless Protection? It's the movie where Larry the Cable Guy is a cop who takes a protected witness from the protective custody. One of the scenes has him at the airport trying to go through security and ends up "behind the scenes" in a strip search. The whole movie was great, but this particular section is quite appropriate to todays over zealous and anal TSA bullsh*t.
