Looks, I agree, but I would have a hard time paying that kind of cash for 13 city/18 highway in today's day and age.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

That is a nice car. I think they did good keeping on par with the new Camero and Mustang as far a retro styling goes.

Yep, no doubt. But if you can afford the car, you can afford the gas to go in it. And the only real production "sports car" ever built in USA is/was the Corvette.Halgar wrote:Right down to the 4100 pounds and bad gas mileage.Tadracket wrote:That is a nice car. This is a muscle car. 4100 lbs, who cares. Throw in some cold air and a hundred shot and tear up the pavement. If you want to cut curves like a mad man, buy a BMW.

The challenger does look cool from the outside but I have a couple of issues with it. I have driven the Charger srt8 and my buddies cherokee SRT8. Awesome motor with gobs of torque. The thing is Dodge has a way of making Plastic look cheaper than anyone I know and both of the cars interiors are full of it. Both of those cars are overweight like a middle aged soccer mom.

Re: just thought i'd share.................
that ford mustang sure looks cool as does the new challenger and the camaro does look killer too.
thanks god german and japanese car makes will probably say these cars only do look killer but actually
they are crap compared to real sports cars (with the exception of the dodge viper and corvette that are some serious, very serious competitors among the few real sports cars) so they don't have to fear neither mustang challenger or camaro anywhere outside the u.s. although these cars are a bargain. a ford mustang with 300hp is around 30 k euro in germany, that is around the price of a golf gti with 200hp. but no one goes for the mustang. in may i had the chance to sit in a v6 2008 mustang convertible. i won't comment on the quality of this car (especially the dash board, material of seats, interior plastics etc. only one thing: even the german ford cars which have a bad reputation in germany are a different world compared to the mustang in terms of quality) ford didn't release this car here since they were afraid of getting a bad reputation of this car for the materials and build quality and a lack of dealers that can handle these cars. even that bargain price wouldn't help it. and that price is the reason it is built this way and no other. a 300hp car usually is around 60-70000 euro up in germany. if ford were smart and knew what to improve on this car they could be a choice for all. i have talked to one ford manager who runs the engine production in cologne for a ford division make. he told me they are completely aware of these problems but the ford bigwigs don't react. they say we don't compete with bmw or porsche, not even with the nissan 350z, period. we are building cars for the masses.
if that camaro or mustang and challenger were higher quality a lot of people would go for them.
but as long as it remains that way, they won't stand a chance. looks is important, but it is not everything.
just as with any women. you guys will know
