Don't worry !

I worked on few other projects !
I comeback to this one shortly .
I found the lasr RCPS turnbuckles and the end caps .
So now, just need the front carbon fiber tower and a rear special Carbon sheet to make one replica .
I need also to finish to machin my chassis, and I probably find the Motor plate from an hold AE team driver .

Stay tunned :)

What is the purpose of the blue washers under the ball studs, and where were they sourced from?

Are those only necessary when using certain caster blocks?

I'm pretty sure those are countersunk washers flipped over. RC10's seem to suffer from bump steer no matter what castor blacks are used.

it's just something you need to play with on your particular car.

Tower looks good Cedric! Nice work and a bunch of time to do up that cad. Make some extra towers when you get yours cut and sell them!

Well,

Today the chassis is done !
I use a HPC to be sure about the cut down dimension of the edges.
In fact I have many pictures of the kinwald car with the speedo on side of the chassis , so that's provide me a strong help with this ;)

I start shortly to build the car !

Yep, today I started to build the rear end of the car.

First step, rear machined arms, long inner pin with washers and standard white arm mount and hub.

I'm so lucky to collect from a long time this new set of original design MIP cvd's

Image

Last washers and blue nuts

Here also, after tightened the blue nuts, the rear bulkhead fit perfectly the trimmed chassis

Few screws, nuts and RCPS turnbuckles adjustments later, the rear end look like this
