OMG!!

you guys are making me really jealous, man I"d LOVE to come but that is just too short a notice.....

I know it is like still 5 months away, but coming from europe, I"d definatly stay for a week AT LEAST, and visit some relatives. i have an Uncle in Plymouth, the rest is close to Buffalo.

MAN!!! Plymouth is only like 170 miles away, okay guys just make shure to take A LOT of pictures okay.

It's really cool that you're pulling this off!!

Rock a yoke '91 or '93 works. In an even vintage field, it'll dominate.

Yeah it was, but it can 't be during that weekend because I'm getting married on the 13th, so my business partner and myself will be at the wedding and there will be nobody to open and run the hobby shop and track.

hey erich, since modern tires/wheels are allowed, if i was to use B4 rims on the rear, i'll need to use B4 cvd's for my particular car. would the B4 cvd's fly? it's not like they're any kind of performance enhancement.

i plan on running old stuff anyway, but i just wanted to keep some options open.

Ya thats fine, I'm not going to inundate this race with rules. Anything to get your car running works in my book. Its not about winning as much as it is about fun and the fun in this is seeing old cars live again. I'm not referring to you when i say this but if someone wants to show up with a B4'd rc10 i'm not going to stop them but they're really missing the point and i know anyone that would come to this already understands the spirit of this race. There are plenty of offroad trophy races they can go to to hot lap the field with a modern car. :D

And yes this race will hopefully go yearly. I'm glad to see the initial response I've gotten so far and if things go well this will most certainly be an annual race

Mark,

what modern tyres and compounds do work on your track in 2WD/4WD? They do not have to be super fast but reliable.

Thanks in advance

Jconcepts Rounders in the front and Double Dee's in the rear for 2wd, Double Dee's all around in 4wd. Double Dee's get about 140-160 laps before laps times get off pace. Pro-line Holeshots work as well but the life expectancy is a little lower.
