It is a Tamiya body indeed. '98 Baja Champ and discontinued I believe.
I stumbled over 3 of these and sill probably use 2 of them for now: keep the 3rd one for repro-ing if there's enough interest and someone to pull'm.

erik, tamiya's web site still shows them in stock.
great build, and that body looks great on there.

Don't we all have such builds? It happens sometimes to me: I get stuck or realize a fundamental aspect in the car I can not solve in a proper way. Or another car comes along and looks way more promising in all of the weak areas of the ongoing build... It's long ago, but I think in this case it was getting the steering set up and fitting in the chassis.
You could consider this another try, but also stalled since last summer:
