Re: My blue GT
Such a great build. Got to be my favorite GT build ever. Super clean and has all the vintage goodness.
I don't normally give suggestions, but I just can't help but think what it would look like if the foam tires were shaved down. Maybe bring down the rear a little, and the fronts even more, and round the sides in a little. It would sort of emulate the look of the RC10T with the skinny fronts, but also give it a bit of a slammed effect.
It obviously looks great as is, but I just had to share what my eyes keep wanting to see, lol.

Re: My blue GT
Any advice or suggestions are always welcome. I’m always open to others ideas.
In this case though. I have no access to a tire truer and could only imagine how bad I could ruin these trying to do anything to them with a drill and a dremel.

It might be worth a shot to post a thread in the wanted area to see if someone has a truer that you could send them to or whatever. And don't feel bad...I screwed up many a set With a tire truer bitd

Re: My blue GT
I didn’t get the sightseeing tour but I got the follow me tour. I went up there a while ago to get some donuts cut for some Sees wheels I had. Nothing glamorous just an old service garage with a bunch of tires and machines making tires.

Since we’re on the subject, super stalker pics and all
Can you have them make some foams up for say a set of mini-mags ?? Or is it because you went there and wouldn’t leave until they did it for you

Re: My blue GT
I called ahead to see if they had anything that would work for me. They’re not set up for the public, but he said to stop up and he could make something work. He had a box of scrap cuts that we scrounged through and he sold them to me for basically nothing.

Also, call CRC. They may be able to find a rubber tire that will fit.MarkyDents wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 3:21 pm Since we’re on the subject, super stalker pics and all
