Thanks Mike!
Picked up this OG shell from eBay, gave it a good clean up and polish and it’s came out really nicely

So I’m turning this back to an original spec car and going to put stock shocks on it and stock c hubs/hubs
I’m also putting back some old school brushed electrics/cells in the car
Managed to dig through the spare box and got the original spur/slipper on it

So I’ve been turning this car more into an original style car
It’s got a stock team slipper, team shocks and fibreglass towers
As you can see I’ve gone for some old school electronics but just waiting to meet up with a friend to get some old school 1700 scrc cells in it then it’ll stay on shelf

Awesome build! Could you cut down the chassis, nose plate, and motor plate to reveal the aluminum edge and keep the clean powder coating?

I could but it’s a risk that the powder coat would chip/lift
One of my other white chassis cars has been cut down but this was before it went off to powder coat

I see. Do you know if chipping/flaking would be an issue with cutting the original ae powder coated chassis too?

Its a risk and on an original AE chassis, I wouldn't personally
