Agreed. I put in a massive safety bid on this one (and currently have the high number), and it might get bigger if I feel inspired over the next few days, but it's irritating watching the auction price get driven up bit by bit for seemingly no reason.
I also really don't like this new "hidden" bidder system. I think it makes it much more difficult for collectors to gauge who they are competing with at any given moment.

And I in turn agree with you, the hidden bidder system seems pointlless and doesn't help the buyer, if I new I was up against typischdesign I'd bid high, if I'm up against t************n I don't know what to do.Eau Rouge wrote:Agreed. People who drive the price up are the worst. I think it should just be a final bid thing, e.g. nothing shows up you just watch it for 6 days and in the end all the bids are counted. The same person would win in the end and it would be fairer...
I am really tempted to start my own auction site at the moment...

The hidden bidder system doesn't really bother me since I'm sniping this Fusion tub with a MASSIVE snipe anyways.

I like the comment in the "questions" section about a GROUP BUY.
That's a trip. How do you organize a group buy for ONE ITEM?
