Agreed. I put in a massive safety bid on this one (and currently have the high number), and it might get bigger if I feel inspired over the next few days, but it's irritating watching the auction price get driven up bit by bit for seemingly no reason.

I also really don't like this new "hidden" bidder system. I think it makes it much more difficult for collectors to gauge who they are competing with at any given moment.

And I in turn agree with you, the hidden bidder system seems pointlless and doesn't help the buyer, if I new I was up against typischdesign I'd bid high, if I'm up against t************n I don't know what to do.

People who drive the price up are the worst. I think it should just be a final bid thing, e.g. nothing shows up you just watch it for 6 days and in the end all the bids are counted. The same person would win in the end and it would be fairer...

I am really tempted to start my own auction site at the moment...

The hidden bidder system doesn't really bother me since I'm sniping this Fusion tub with a MASSIVE snipe anyways.

I like the comment in the "questions" section about a GROUP BUY.

That's a trip. How do you organize a group buy for ONE ITEM?

sounds like somebody was tryin to swindle him into thinking there wasnt alot of interest in his auction because alot of us were trying to get a fibrelite group buy going on.
