Finally! I have been hunting a mint Trinity servo mount for nearly 2 years. I finally got one.

Amazing looking car. Did you built another one with all the spares you have?

^ Not yet but I am planning on building a second XX4 with the extra parts. I just need the internals (diffs, belts, etc.).

One of the last details I have been searching for is a early generation rear solid bumper. I finally found one at a reasonable price. Pictured below next to the more common vented bumper.

So jealous! Lol I have a XX4 in a box somewhere that I hope looks 1/2 that nice someday...

I'm happy that bumper ended up on this beautiful buggy

I made a few small changes and removed most of the purple hardware for a cleaner look.

I've never seen a Trinity motor mount for a XX4 in person, so please pardon my lack of knowledge, but whats the threaded hole in the top of it for? Another beauty, BTW!

Edit: Found the answer: It's for an optional locking set screw. Should have known...

How dare you....I’ve always wanted one, haven’t had a chance to own one, I’ve had plenty of chances at getting a xxx4, but YOU kept telling me how much better the xx4 were

Interesting point about the rear bumper - I had forgotten that they updated it, nice little touch there!

Since I have been building my XX4 modern racer, I decided to try adding some period electronics to this one. I'm not going to solder anything in yet, but I think I like how it looks.

the only thing with the older buggy, is to work on them it a lot longer then the new buggy
