Received chassis today.

Really impressive, comes screwed together includes nuts and bolts for the bumper and what you can't see in the pictures are the three 60mm HR spacers which bolt the chassis together and two small spacers neatly tie wrapped to chassis for the gap on the rear chassis mount.

Excellent kit - will try and post some pictures later.

Thanks for the kind words, I have updated to ties on upper and lower mainly because those HR spacers are pricy! It doesn't need the strength just needs to hold the tabs in, so yours is one of 4 with the spacers. I'd love to see pics when it is installed, and welcome any feedback (especially the good feedback hahaha)

Just finished up the BOOM!erang version. Had to redo a lot to get the body to fit properly.

That came out great! I assume you'll also be selling this version? I have a Boomerang that would definitely enjoy having one.

Yes, already made a couple more changes like losing the lower battery wings. It's hard to get the battery in and out of, the battery clips are a pita to install. I'd like to do a little more work on that. I have ideas

Great, sounds good to me. I bought a really cool Boomerang from Japan two years ago in which I was going to replace the chassis on due to some scratches. One of these will be just the ticket.

Many thanks to GoMachV for the great chassis kit he sold to me. I register to the site just so to share my built and hope to get more great kits that you guys are creating. I got back into RC when all the retro stuff is being introduce so collected many hop up parts for cars that I admired during younger days. I got a RC Lohas Hot Shot kit and was going to build a second one when I come across the GoMachV chassis kit and decided to incorporate other hop up parts to see if I can create a unique Hot Shot. All that left from original Hot Shot is the gearbox, the suspension arms come from a kit from RC Channel of Taiwan (they don't sell the kit but individual part can still be purchased). Gmade shocks from Korea, aluminum wings from Pargu also from Korea. Aluminum Bumper from England, I got a aluminum replica wheel set coming and I should be done.

Thank GoMachV, Your chassis really compliments the other parts, by the way, do you have a better way the fix the battery besides the zip tie? I wondering if there is a way to use the Hot Shot L shape battery holder on your chassis. Also if you have finish refining the Boomerang chassis, I'm interested in one as I have Super Sabre from colleges day that could benefit from one Love to hear what else have you done to your Hot Shot.

I haven't had a chance to do anything with the boomerang chassis so it remain the same as the one posted above. It was a huge challenge to get the battery clips to work with it, but I could do something similar on the hotshot...when I have some time. Right now I don't have much time to sit down and draw it out.
