Re: Translucent box art paint job
yes it can be done but there is couple of problems
if done it has to be masked off for each paint .. not hard if you have a vinyl cutter ( i dont yet )
i would have to pick up 8 candy colors ( around $78 cost )
so unless you want to spend a good chunk of money on it i wont beable to sorry
it can be done just costly

Cost is not much of an issue. Just need to know it can be done and how it will turn out.

Re: Translucent box art paint job
it can be done .. alot of masking .. it would be like painting 3 cars ... the colors wont be exact as candys need a backing color
as for masking .. i would need ether a vinyl cutter or have to go to a vinyl shop and have some cut out as they need to be exact
anything can be done but being diffrent costs
i like trying things people said cant be done .. usaly i do one off jobs that never got done again
the only other thing is this would have to be done for a shelfer and might get scrached taking it on and off .. and if it was it would never beable to be touched up

Re: Translucent box art paint job
Sounds like a probability then.
Let me know if you can get the vinyl cut that you need.

You may have seen this, but DemZ kept the body of his partially clear and I think it's a pretty cool look. Not quite the same of course, but worth a look.
