...fit perfectly! Black is also available.

Don't use the supplied screws though.

So heres the tale of your losi's. The Kinwald car came from the states somewhere off ebay It was ok shape and came with 2 blue motor plates (1 went to Rick) I was fairly new to restorations at this point and was probley my second car after I done my boxart xx. I did the best I could and have learned alot about these cars along the way. Everything isnt perfect as per KW manual but it was built from the best parts I had and sprayed a body to sit on shelf. Here is car here with body
Image.

Bearickster and I have traded ALOT of stuff over the past few years and his KW came up which I belive is the one pictured on vintagelosi as BrandonG's ?and I had something he needed. So I had 2 Kinwalds. They both sat for awhile, then the one you have went to Paul for who remembers what. Sat on his shelf. Llife went on and now its yours.

The CR came from Bimbapogs and it sat around here with the countless other xx's I have until Paul wanted one as a runner and off it want down hwy401 to him. Life go's on and now you have it. If I remember correctly MIP rear shafts came from a member here NIP and it has tecnacraft hinge pins. I didnt do much wrenching on that one. The parts lot? who knows where It came from originally, Ive been a bit of a xx whore the last few years and many didnt pass me by.

Paul I think I have enough xx's to keep me happy for awile.
Just didnt want to see the KW doing double backflip nosedives off a skatepark ramp is all.

Cheer.

Ps I always liked the white steering parts for some reason thats why they are white.

Hey that's great, thanks for the info and the history, it's nice to know it's been in caring hands in the past :)

I am going to run it (The Kinwald) but it will be grass/astro or indoors, no skate park asphalt here!

I would say that the MIP drive shafts were NIP as you suggest, they look excellent and the outdrives look new to be honest.

I have bought some new shocks and threaded bodies for her, new turnbuckles, new screws/bolts, new arms front and rear, hubs and carriers, rear shock tower and a front to follow. she will be looking good pretty soon I hope :)

Hmm not sure about these RPM rod ends, they are 8mm shorter than stock which deosn't leave a lot of thread inside...

Definitely worth it for your Kinwald, IMO.

I agree, worth it indeed. Those are not the ones I have :( I bought 4 packs too, think they may have to go back...

I think they make RPM long and shorts. I prefer the feel of the RPM plastic myself. here are the longs.

they are what I thought I would be receiving... Mine are way too short to support enough thread inside.

BTW really like that paint on your shell, any more photos?

I'm assuming that you do the black panel lines first but what do you use? A Tamiya Polycarbonate paint pen or a black Sharpie (or something else!)?

Not for me, I'm rather poor when it comes to design and finish.

liquid masked entire car. drew lines I wanted on outside plastic cover with sharpie. cut out lines inside, airbrushed on black lines. peeled off remaining mask added bolts with black sharpie inside then did different tones, black gray random mixing gray tones all backed in silver. Im terrible at painting and this one was easy peasy

Really cool paint job, well executed and something you rarely see!
