65.5 unis and lazer arms and zx5 c-hubs la-219-7 there is now way jose they are to short i use them myself.

the 73 mm unis are for the zx-5 sp / sp2 since they have copied losis setup i think the axle itself should be to short for the zx-5 hubs la 219-4/7/9

Sorry to bust your bubble but I am using LA219-7 outers with 73mm unis and the car is within IFMAR rules. A 4wd car maximum width is 250mm or 9.842 inches. The car I built with wheels (exact setup as Mike is building) measures at exactly 249mm. So I ask how is this car to wide to race??? You sound just like the dude from Oople telling me the car isn't going to turn building it this way...good thing I listened to him, huh. I initially purchased 65.5 unis to find they did not reach the outdrives.
and if you read agin you will see the text regarding the mids chubs and wideness.

I just wounder how you cant get the 65.5 unis to work since back in -97 i used the w-5063 unis in front when i drove my Lazer suspension featuerd turbo optima mid special in the swedish nationals and i drove on 4wheels not just on 2.

i have also used mips prox cvds in the front.

so we just have to agree to disagree shall snap some photos .....

will take atleast 2.5 hours before another post swe and can in og hockey final....

It has everything to do with wheel offsets plain and simple. I machined these front arms longer than the factory arms to make up the difference on current ZX-5 wheel offsets. If I ran the same wheels you ran in 97...the car would be too wide to race.

I initially said these arms were the same but I had to go back to look at what I actually did. The front arms are longer, rear arms are the same. This should clear up everyone's beef on this topic.

Jake makes awesome stuff! A while ago, I bought his white nylon optima mid arms and his lay shaft for using a B4 slipper.

that's looking awesome Mike.
I really like the B4 slipper setup, that easy to do? Thinking I would add one to my Lazer project.
