That is a section of the turnpike we use regularly. No one I know so far got stuck in that mess. Had the road closed until almost 5 pm. Thankfully it sounds like no fatalities.

We got 7 inches over two days last week, first time in 3 years for any accumulation and I loved it. All that's left is a couple of inches in the front as the house is always in the shade. It should be gone by the weekend, supposed to hit 70.

I grew up in Syracuse, and I do miss the snow!! But, NC sucks when it snows...it just screws everything up.

I love the snow but I miss driving on our tracks, RC withdrawal I suppose. My GF thinks I'm nuts
