I'm going to wan't to buid one of these at one point. So nice. What are you going to do for starting. Pull Start? Will that fit there?

If you were to choose to build one with a pull start. It would build the same. You would just need to do some different body trimming. Or you could always stay non ps and bump start.

Hey Romulus. I'd love to see this one run, sir. Way back when the GT and other 1/10 GTs were popular, I htought a 2wd Nitro Buggy would be fun to have a as a race class.

I've been playing around with the window lines on the viper myself lately...only on paper. I'm no photoshop guru, so I just traced the body outline onto paper, and then made copies. I think that bigger windows on the front and sides really make the viper look a lot better. Rounding the corners a bit helps too. I'll try and post a pic of one of my ideas when I can get the camera and stuff out...

Wow just checked out the latest on the build.

SWEEEEEET !!!!

This turned out really nice. IT would really be cool to see the difference in handling between the buggy and a GT.

I think you may need to build a runner as well....

Pretty cool. Buuuuut, Where does the receiver battery go?

The receiver pack will mount just like it would on a Dudgeon truck.

I didn't like how far off the rear the GT bumper hung and instead of having nothing I made a shorter bumper that would still allow for a small 5cell pack like the one in the Dudgeon instructions, the one shown mounted to the tower.

Using a GT chassis is cheating!

J/K. Lookin' good, man!

I went a different route. Used GT rear bulkhead and trans, but kept the gold pan:

While I like conversion cars, the plan with this was for a factory looking car.

No sense starting a new thread, here’s the current progress of my current gas buggy I’ve been slowly working on. Nothing special, very used car as donor so the parts are fairly stained and yellow. Still a little more to go yet.

Way too cool, anything special done with any of the parts to get it together ? Really does look like an AE factory built piece. Really nicely done.
