Thanks. I am having trouble finding any info on Thomas Hightower, so not sure if I will be able to find a picture of the body he ran? I am hoping Eustace has something.littleVETTE wrote:that's great news to hear. can't wait to see how the car turns out.
Good to know. Thanks for the information. I can at least use it to keep the belt in place until I can find an original. I was hoping that MIP could help me out with an original, but does not seem to be the case.Phin wrote:Vintagemishal wrote:I will check out the link, thanks for posting. Unfortunately the 3Racing pulleys are probably not going to work. They're 3mm pitch belts (like most touring cars) and from what I've seen people say about the MIP belts is they're something like a 2.8mm non-standard pitch.
The 3racing pulleys are also for a 4mm shaft not 5mm...though that's less of an issue since you can bore it out.
If you're okay with using non-original pulleys you can get them for both the front and rear and then also get a new belt to match.
Feel like counting the teeth and measuring the length of the belt?Vintagemishal wrote:...

I would definitely like to know more. PRP said that this car was at the 93' Worlds. I have Car Action from Sept. 91' that lists the 4-10 Legend as new kit. Strange that this car was raced 2 years after that at the Worlds. Not sure if they were going to update the kit? Eustace says that these were the last prototype parts he made before they ended production. Unfortunately, Eustace seems to be a man of few words.littleVETTE wrote:it would be cool to know if this was a prototype for the "legend" kit, or a newer version that never made it into production?
