Awesome build! :D

I'm adding this to my list of favorite DS projects.

I love the reworked nose plate/tube support...very cool idea!

Now it needs a classic muscle car body to make it perfect!

First road test today, it runs very well but I don't know how to gear it correctly. I've tried a 25t pinion with 81t spur gear, but it seems a little slow on top speed.

I have a 13.5 Robitronic sensored motor and a Nosram Matrix Power esc.

HAHAHAH thanks...

I have that one in my "to cut and paint" pile of muscle car bodies but i think it will be more at home on a nitro DS.

I suggest you update the title of this thread to "MUST SEE DS". 8) Great work man. That looks like one bad ass machine. :D

Did you ever get the gear ratio squared away?

Very sweet DS!

No, no update on the DS, I recently finished a nice RC10T but still can't decide how to paint my Camaro. I bought some Vaterra Camaro 69 wheels, they fit the DS nicely and are cheaper than the HPI.

Thanks for the info on the Vaterra wheels. its always good to have a selection from which to choose from.

I know painting a body is hard...especially when the body is as sweet as the Camaro. I will be waiting to see how painting goes.

By the way...i still love the way you cut the aluminum front part of the chassis and incorporated into the carbon chassis. I purchased a used DS chassis to make the attempt and cut as you did but i still havent tried it yet.

Your car has come a long way!
