I can't tell anything from those two B&W pics. In one it looks like it could be white in the other black.

It's better though to keep it white and find out later it should be black, then to dye it black and find out later it should've been white.

In the article from the scan archives the bulkhead is white 100%. I was sent larger, high resolution scans.

jirka sent this one to me a short time ago. black and white, but the bulkhead looks white comparing it to the black arms.

started throwing some parts at it. while looking over all of the pics i have, i've come to realize that the "version" of the car i'm trying to copy (the one definitely from the 91 euros) did not use a jammin rear tower. the difference in angle between the 2 shows that he just used a stock rear fiberglass tower. and on the front, he used the 6 hole tower, not the 4. i'm gonna guess that the pics i have of the car with the body of is an earlier car..... pre team car. so i guess i'll just wing it when it comes to electronics layout under the shell. i can get some ideas from the earlier car though.

I agree that that is bad arse so far! Good luck on the rest of the build. The reference pics look to be making this difficult.

I just hate those big felt spacers on that Stealth though. Don't you? My DS has one and it just makes me hate it a little. The car is looking great don't get me wrong. I just hate that spacer on any car. I can't help it.

I know I should know this, but why did they use it again? Something to do with the top shaft I assume?

to give you something to throw away when it ripped during the first trans rebuild.

Lmfao! True dat!

Thumbs, it sealed the trans plate to the housing. The t2 was a better design gasket and actually will survive a rebuild but sadly isn't compatible.

When I look at mine it just reminds me of something that I would pull out of the dryer vent. :? Of course I can't stand ball stud dust covers either, but that's a whole other story...

tiny update, but for me and this build, it's HUGE.

i honestly didn't think i would find a nosram esc to put in this car (atleast anytime soon), but then paul listed one in the bst the other day. :D i don't know if it works, and i don't care. just gonna add some new wires and put it in the car, though i may see if it works out of curiosity. he also was able to help me out with a couple of the old style nosram decals i'll need for the body.

going by the stats listed in the race article, rory used a nosram hi-freq esc. this one is an international. but i'm under the impression that the basic size and layout of the esc's are the same. biggest difference being the internals and case color. the international is obviously going in it since it's what i have. but i'll keep looking for others.
