So cool! Very nice build. You can tell just by looking that its a great handling buggy.

great work!

I've picked up a Triumph for our vintage racing here in Australia, i'll be rebuilding it over the next couple of months, it'll be a runner though, no shiny new bumpers etc lol

it does look like a good handling buggy, but at the time it was a bit unloved and kyosho quickly moved to the prototype triumph which became the Pro-x, which came with the geared tranny and shorter arms

Personally I love the look and concept of the triumph, its a 2wd lazer zxr in my mind, and I love belt drives

Is that an original body or a repro?

That body's got some strange lines, but it kinda works. I like it!

The body is a TBG repro.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The lines are correct without any flaws, and the lexan isn't thin and flimsy.

I'm happy with the results. The blue is a little darker than I planned, but I'll live with it (I used Tamiya blue).

Stickers are originals. I had initially ordered some repro stickers, but they never showed up (even after submitting an issue and complaint). Oh well. Turns out that others had reported that the quality of the Triumph repros aren't very good anyway.

I'll post more pics after it's done.

The Triumph is finally ready for the shelf!!! :D

I'll take better pictures in the futures and start a show room, but here are some pics of the completed car.

Great job on the Triumph. I've got one myself almost finished, needs a set of rear wheels and the body stripping and repainting. Still not sure what to do about the decals though, they aren't Kyosho's finest achievement by any means and your car looked just as good without them. Decisions, decisions!!
