Pinky's coming along really nice. Are the rear outer hubs aftermarket?

Nope...That was a find at Hobbytown...Original AE part in bag...Part number 6366...I had to ream the hell out of all the AE parts...The RPM arms were perfect...Kinpins went in to them with no problem...But when it came time to put them thru the AE parts forget about it...Chinese manufacturing i guess...1/8 inch drill bit is what i used...I started the reaming by hand and then finished with the dremel...

If you plan on running this on a carpet oval, why not ditch the worlds rear tower (and what would be tall buggy shock) in favor of a cut down fiberglass tower and touring car shocks? Its not like you'll need suspension travel.

Those are the parts that i am waiting for  Then the shock tower will go up for sale...It is brand new....56 shocks from tower and reuse my 71s on the rear...Just gonna use dogbones on the rear...I should have no problem with them since there will be no jumps involved...

What type of tower are you going with? I was debating on trying my DS tower/shocks on the 6-gear to lower it for the oval.

jwscab pmd me and told me about some lowering towers he has for sale and i bought them...They are J&G towers that convert your RC10 for oval racing or on road...I have a buddy who has the tools to cut out anything...I am going to see if he will use these as a template and cut me some spares...If he does i will let you know...If it happens and you want a set you will have to buy the .56 front shock set from Tower and then get the .71 shock shafts to use in your front shocks...Then your front shocks will be your rear shocks...

Thanks...I was thinking about just running my DS on the oval, considering it was set up for that when I bought it....I would just rather run the 6gear tranny instead....I'm stubborn like that.

So my efforts in trying to get a vintage bomber class has failed...Not only that but they are closing the track and relocating...I will put back on the original white parts and put this one on the shelf...Just waiting for the classic when it comes out...
