Nice score! That'll be a fun build to watch.

FYI - there's a NIP RPM 7077 Worlds front end kit out there, too...

So you gonna open it Adam?

BTW, I got the 4X chassis  I just couldn't hold back from what has always seemed to me to be the single rarest piece of FRP in all of 1980's R/C (debatable of course).

Nope I'm not opening it because I'm trying to find a trade for an MIP Legends kit (I posted in the for sale section).

Flipwils11 did you also grab the MIP/JG gear case?

http://johnshobbiesandcrafts.com/index.php?route=product/product&filter_name=mip&product_id=1544

If you did (or if someone else here did) I'd really like to see a scan of the instructions....and whether or not it can really be used on a Kyosho Scorpion.

Hah. You were the next guy I was going to ask Hcp22. Thanks.

Doesn't look like it'll work with a Scorpion since there's no place to mount the shock tower. Though it probably wouldn't be too hard to make a new mounting bracket that would work.

A MIP 4wd Circuit 1000 car would be a pretty sweet build.

No I didn’t buy it; I simply asked if he could shoot some pictures of the instruction, and he did. I had the change though, but you need a Thorp diff for the SRB and some other SRB stuff. I don’t know how hard it is to find a Thorp diff, so I gave it up… It’s original designed for the SRB. So John must have sold it to someone else

A 4WD MIP/Scorpion would be so cool, but the price tag is over the top for me.
Cheers

But I got the MIP No. F-200 Cox Caster Locks and some MRP arms for the Scorpion, so I’m not that disappointed. The best “part” was that he had one MRP arm left of the same type I broke on my runner 8)
