Since this will be a box art car, I was trying to keep it as real looking as possible. Unfortunately, I think it's going to interfere with the drivers figure.
If you're going to use an Associated Nissan body it probably won't fit under the body. I'm not sure how they hid the antenna on the box-art car.
Yes, I do plan on using that body. I'm going to try to cut the antenna tube down a bit more when I get the body and find out if I can make it fit. If not, I'll figure something out.

I remember back in the day we would use a long rectangular piece of lexan with notches cut on either side. You then zig zag the antenna up the lexan strip like shoe laces. Just make sure the wire doesn't cross itself that will cause interference. The antenna will then bend and lay down under the body without effecting range. You may know this but though I would share. Car looks great!

I have seen that before and that may be a great direction to go in for this car. If anyone has pics of this please feel free to post them up. Thanks for the suggestion and the compliments. I plan on setting aside some time this week for this project so I hope to post an update soon.

I'm finished with this project finally. The only thing it needs is for me to take the vintage cells I have and make a saddle pack for it. These pics are a little outdated as it now has a Bolink Porsche 962 GTP body and I threw on some vintage ti turnbuckles as well. I'll post more pics when I get the pack soldered up. Thanks to everyone who made this build possible.
