4x8' bench for the power tools. I'm hoping to get then cut today and assembled by tomorrow.
Wow, it's gonna take a while to re-sort all this mess!!

Competed 1.5 tables today...not much left but putting the legs on the second one. I also cut the planks for the "torture rack" which I hope to start on in the morning!
The tables were based on a light aircraft assembly table that I extended a bit and dropped the lower shelf. Same concept just a little more to my taste

I think my idea for the torture rack will work. We ripped all the lengthways pieces at 10°, so when the plank is set in it holds the car at a slight angle to hold it firmly in the groove. They can be glued, screwed or nailed but probably won't need it. I figure this rack will hold a total of 94 vehicles- 16 trucks, 50 buggy and 1/10 pan, and 28 1/12 scale. Woot!

Nice place you have going there..like your torture rack.. I have been looking into how to display my cars but keep them stable here in so cal with our earthquakes.. don't want them thrown all over the floor..

Very clean set up.. congrats!

Neat way to store them.

Looks fantastic! I'd love to have a dedicated shed like that. You could actually shorten up the planks a bit so they don't protrude past the noses of the cars. Not sure if that would look better or not, just a thought.

Those are just a mock up, the trucks have the long planks, buggy and pan car are shorter and 1/12 is shorter yet. I should be able to get the last cross piece cut and up tonight, pics will follow!

Put up some of the shelves, I guess I do need to cut them down a bit. I ran out of steam so I didn't get to the trucks yet. Also, nothing is in any kind of order yet lol.

It's still going to be a tight fit with all my "wants" but the 10x16 shed is about perfect
