I would like to see some of the 2010 footage. Especially the stadium truck A main. Do you have anything from 2010 Erich?

So, any chance we can change the motor limit rules for Heavy Metal this year? I want to race a Clod, again, or still I should say. You know, the whole reverse rotation issue again. Can we do all silver cans or some mild modified limit so I can go with zero timing? Anything so that the Clods can have equal horsepower?

Or, if I'm not allowed to build a Clod that is capable of running nearly as fast as the rest of the field, I could just build a full JPS Clod with some Mad Max extras and just kill the competition to win the class.

Mel you know the clods run against the other clods right? I was thinking of letting them run 19t brushed motors since they'd be comparable but I think giving them their own class gives them a shot anyway.

The Clods have their own class now? I thought they were in with the other MTs?

They run in heavy metal as their own class and get their own trophies. So while you're still on track with the faster trucks you're only racing against the other big boys

Awesome! That sounds great Erich. Now, will I be disqualified for chasing the smaller trucks around and trying to crush them?

No train for me this year, I've got my own wheels! I've got an old beater Volvo now. Actually passed thru Waterbury on the way to Maine about a month ago, thought about pulling off the highway, but the wife wouldn't let me. All I have to do is try to get off work for a day or two from the job and I'm set. Well, that and I've got to get my Clod ready to race, but that shouldn't be a problem. The Sorcher is ready, with some improvements made since last year.

Erich, can we run modern Clod chassis, or do they also have to be something from 1994 or earlier?

I'm not super pleased with my JPS chassis at the moment, I think it fits the 1994 rule though. I think I'm going to build a Powers Clod instead.

Well you know me, I make it a rule to never have fun. :x

I guess you can look for a Bigfoot bodied Powers Clodbuster kicking up dirt out there this year then. Gotta see if I can get the Saturday off, otherwise I'll just come up for Sunday race day.
I figured with all the modernized RC10s and such, that a newer (but long out of production) chassis on the slowest truck in the world wouldn't be a big deal. I do have it geared high though, so hopefully it will be giving the rest of the MTs a good run for their money.

i'll get my terminator in shape, just noticed that it's not very happy this weekend, one of the axel housings has sparated.
i'll get it going and we can run them with the other clods/mts, it will be fun just to see'em out there.
