To complete the collection that I would like:

Novak 828-HV, 610-RV, Dually

Tekin G-10 Pro, Formula 10, F-10, and 432M

I would like to get my hands on an SCE power card (or any SCE for that matter) and a Zeta ESC... They can be a little hard to find though.

I would also like to get my hands on a first generation LRP and HPI Uno mod motor.

That pretty much describes modern medicine though.

Impressive collection, I've had a tekin, three novaks and an Australian esc in the early 90s one of the novaks supposedly had regenerative braking, can't remember the model numbers apart from a t4 and a special Novak that was used at the 89 worlds. Think one of the motors was a cam 14 double and a 12 triple reedy. Only sold some of that gear a few years ago without ever thinking I'd get into cars again or vintage.

Thats an amazing collection of motors & electrics Brandon!!!! - my stand-out favourites are mostly mid-school vintage.... the Novak Mercury RXs, Novak Cyclone ESC, LRP IPC Digital ESC & off course the Tekin 410K, with regard to the motors, you can never beat an original *dot Reedy!!

I must admit, I love looking at these photos - so many great names & memories - sadly many have gone by the wayside with the wide-spread use of Brushless & Lipos :|

P.S; I also have a pack of Trinity 'World Tech' SCRCs - they were actually illegal to use at BRCA sanctioned events because their RRP exceeded the upper price limit they set... of course team drivers got given 'selected' packs which would have way better than anything we could buy

Do you mean how long have I taken to get this far?

Once my car collection slowly got completed, I started going after ESC's. About 2 years worth of collecting. Motors I have been collecting the whole time now. About 10 years worth.

Honestly, I had never heard of checkpoint until I got on the board here. Never ran them, or even heard of them so I just didn't have an "attraction" to them. I don't like collecting just because they are worth XXX dollars. I do have one of the newest gen Checkpoints in there, but not what you are referring to I believe.... :D

More pics to come....

Maybe we should make a new thread "who has 100+ motors.
I´m in easily.
Actually I don´t know how much motors, ESC and other old electronics I have exactly.

Maybe it´s also easier making a thread "how many motors do you have year 1980 and older".
I think this would reduce these numbers a lot.

Wow, I've been pretty far off the radar with work lately and missed this thread 'til just now. Spent about 10 minutes to go thru it and I'm not sure my heart beat the entire time! Wish I had the foresight, passion and commitment to amass such a collection. You're a lucky man Brandon! Pretty soon you'll have a motor for every car in your collection!
