Post a photo up for us.
I can't see it on the part numbers I have for Revolution motors.
My guess would be that it's a yellow label modified Revolution motor and maybe a quad turn?
You can always pop it open and count the winds on the armature, man.
Anyone?

The Revolution IV was a 16T quint wind motor supposed for 4WD racing. Therefore #4 at the faceplate. There also was a Revolution II what was supposed for 2WD racing.
I still have my Revolution IV and it was not bad but my best motors were the Brutus (16T triple) and Oval (17T triple). Best looking motor was the Motown Missile. And screaming at the long straight as it was a 12T.

Some of my Revolution motors can be found here

Maybe should do a picture of all Revolution motors but some have "disappeared" somewhere in storage.
From an optical view my favourite Revolutions are the early yellow/brown than the Jack Johnson Motown Missile and the Jr´s Choice.

I got this a few weeks ago with a truck I got off of ebay. Is this a stock or mod motor? If its a mod, how many turns?

Stock, mods don't have the locking tabs.

Also the colour scheme is reversed. Modifieds have a yellow sticker with brown lettering. This one was used just for stock.

Hi,
I've got a new Team Losi Performance TL-6108 "Big Ed" (15 quad). Can any body tell me witch type of var this was ment for? I'm currently restoring a Kyosho Lazer ZX-RR, should I use it in this car or should I stick with the used Mega motor?
Take care.

Is it the red sticker motor? My Big Ed was like this and a high torque monster. A lot of the Losi motors were more of the higher reving types but the Big Ed was exactly the opposite. I used that motor for a JRX-T truck where it did work really good. Also for a Lynx II or RC10L pan car where it was too much torque. Could work maybe also for a 4WD but overall this motor shines more with punch than high speed.
Airgap was maybe half or less comparing with other Revolution motors, one of the reasons there was soo much torque.

Hi,
Thank you for your answer. Maybe I should keep it unused then and run with my Mega motor for now.
The sticker is red, I'm going to try and upload a picture.
Take care.
