I had the joy of holding the multi color chassis today. The prep of the chassis under the color gives it a texture no camera can appreciate. I think the imagination of Romulus has only just begun. My vote was for front shocks anodized to match the light shade..and rears to match in kind, with a body painted in the same theme, and agreeing with front chassis parts in white with rears in black.
I like the idea of the car appearing as a single piece of steel would after being heated in flame, and with the permanent discolored rainbow effect.
Too cool.

I couldn't wait, so I re-assembled it in all its original glory, but I think the chassis took a trip through East L.A., and ended up in the Haight. I will do the crazy build later with more anodized aluminum pieces, but for now it is something nice to look at. I think I should go with the one battery tray to show more chassis, and try to work out the body. Not enough hours in the day.
