Follow up questions:

1) Are these wheels still available?
2) Where do you source the hardware, not used to all the flatheads?
3) From my reading then, the rear end from a Cougar, Cougar 2 and Cougar Works are interchangeble?
It's actually cherry red and yellow, they are off the shelf for sure, but can't remember the colors that were used, they are pretty standard colors. Maybe you can use the decal sheet to have a perfect match? Note that both the red/yellow lines and the 27 number have been painted from the inside.

1) nope, your best bet is eBay, but you can still buy JC Racing spoke wheels (I think). Yours look to have been painted black (yikes), maybe you could take the paint off?
2) I have no source for hardware, this car was built from a new kit
3) they are for sure easily interchangeable for the Cougar and Cougar 2, but I think there are some issues with the arm mounts on the Cougar Works, but can't remember what exactly now as I don't have a Works at hand. I'm sure a Shuey god will pop-up and answer it

Cougar 2 Works gearbox has different spacing where it screws to the chassis, compared to Cougar 1/Topcat & the other Cougar 2's. It will fit but you need to drill 2 new holes in a non-works chassis to make it fit....

Thanks, what about these spur gears, the one on there is 96 tooth, is there something available today that fits with this o-ring set up spur gear.
