Kind of but there is another MIP part that is actually a classic "slipper" unfortunately the part number escapes me and I have only ever seen it come up for sale 1 time in a number of years. If you need one (tork contol TC100)talk to the man.

Small update here, managed to build the rear shocks (MIP shock bodies and shafts, repro spring cups and collars thanks to Jake!). I also received the very first pics of the custom tuber chassis I'm waiting for to finish the build.

A big update here, chassis is almost ready to be powdercoated (white or red), I just can't wait any longer

The chassis has been made to fit the MIP trailing arm set-up, the MIP SP-2 4wd conversion kit and the MIP front mono-shock kit. The cage is also made to fit a Protech I body that will have to be slightly modified, drilled and cut. Comments/ideas always welcome. Stay tuned for more updates.

Should be the MIP 'Tribute' to end all 'Tributes'! Can't wait to see the finished car.

Thank you Al, but that is not my goal, I love vintage MIP parts and would love to see more of these around. Of course, the bar has been raised a tad here, but there is no competition here, just gotta love the RC10! Your MIP car is totally stunning by the way. This project has been in the pipeline for years now, and sourcing all the missing bits and bobs was a real challenge. I was about to resign more than once, patience and obstination always pays off!

you know, if you integrated the rear shock upper mounts into the cage, you could totally remove the bulkhead and shock tower, which mean you don't have to cut them up to fit the 4wd system.

otherwise, I love the tube chassis builds!
