As the cells are protected in the radio box I'm going to use some soft case LiPo's probably 2s and hopefull 3 - 4000 whatever will fit.

well I put the decals on and I hate it, I ordered a new body of EBay and I will do the blue and white one I wanted in the first place. always go with your gut. I know I could have just painted this one, but I will just put it back in the box and it will be their if I ever sell it. you would think they would have at least painted the roof peice? I shot it silver. hopefuly I can find some gold paint to paint it. but their isnt a hobby shop with in a 100 miles of me to get any. what do you guys think?

Well I'm pleasantly surprised, it looks far better than I thought it would.

its not to bad I am going to put a little clear on it this week, I have a mini van to paint anyway. that should make it pop and keep the stickers from lifting.

well took it out side today an a few pack through it. it was pretty impresive. I used the battery out of my son in laws ASC18t worked great I am going to pick up a few for this buggy. well I cracked the gold body so no shelf queen duty for her. It ran side by side with my son in laws Losi desert truck. I really look foward to running it on the track at the Vonats. it could use a little more steering but overall its a blast.

might wanna think a little faster..it's been discontinued... it makes a difference if you run in the sand..you'll get stuck easier with the diff 8)

I plan on Racing it in Sept. at the Vonats, and this thing is pretty fast but not very controlable. I though with out the locked diff it might calm it down a bit.

Well after a 30yr wait I finialy did it. I walked into ha hobby shop 30 years ago and saw my first Sand Scorcher and fell in love. I was only 14 so I saved all summer working odd jobs and detailing cars to buy it. only to go back to the hobby shop and let them talk me into buying a Super champ, that I hated from day one, so I went back to buy the Sand Scorcher, they had sold it and said they couldnt get any more. so as you all know I bought the a Buggy Champ. well I dont know why but I love this thing around in my yard, so I Droped some more Coin at Tower and my new Sand Scorcher is on the way I am so excited!

Well my Sand Scorcher is going to be here tomorrow I am getting excited. I ordered a set of these wheel halfs has anyone else bought them from this guy? you couldnt beat the price 35.00 shipped. they sure look good in his pictures. I want to get the bumpers but my bank has to cool off for a while. they are a little on the pricy side I may try and make them first.

I put a ball diff in mine, but I haven't run it since putting it in. When I drove the car without one, it was a bit wild and hard to control, I figured the diff might help out. I wonder why they discontinued it? It seems like a smart upgrade.
