3 cars running, and 3 trophies, brings back memories to the introduction of the truck racing class in our club.
I was a member of this club for over 10 years and in the end it was just me and the president left.
Every now and then we'd work a bit on the track, drive a pack (be very carefull not to get hung up anywhere: no marshalls) and work on the track again. He ran an old RC10T and I was driving my Ultima Truck conversion.
But hey, that's where the comparison ends, keep the spirit up, I'm sure you'll have lots of people coming in with such a regular schedule.

We
http://www.sidsraceway.com will be holding our first event with Vintage classes on the 16th of June.
I will be running 2 of my cars, maybe 3 if I can get my son out to run one.
Rc10 gold tub, Rc10 graphite, Jrx2, Jrx2 proSE, Yok 870c (YZ10)
WE are not restricting battery or motor at the moment as our track although very large really gives very little advantage to pure speed. Also if you WANT to put a 12t double in a 1990s buggy.. its your dollar
Anyway.. I will have some video and pics I am sure.. so I will pass along the link to this when its available.
James
James my RC10s are going to eat your JrX2s for breakfast

...I just rebuilt my 6 gear tranny that had a binding bearing and now both machines are ready for some more action...I think I'll run the gold one in the Vintage Class and the Graphite for the stock class...You've been warned LOL

What a blast from the past! I can't wait for the next run.
Ronnie better have a car together... I can't let him beat me with my own car again
List of busted parts from race day... two bent dog bones (one on each car). My gold tub wouldn't turn worth a darn so I jumped alot of pvc on the infield
Not being able to turn as well as the others forced me to run wide and crawl through the infield. I also jumped the rail on full tilt coming out of turn four and met a cinder block at speed. It busted the clip on the axel and pulled the tire/axle out. New clip and back to running. Funny thing is these were the same arms I cut down as a child. I don't know how it didn't break.
Mannekipis, hope to see you next time. PS not a cloud in sight on raceday.

Not to be picky, but did you mean to say Javelin on your flyer?
If it was closer to NC beaches, I would be there in a hurry. Maybe September if you guys are still doing it. I need a break from this place and a place to run with others like me.

Hope you guys get a better turn out this time around.
We got the same turnout for our first Vintage race of the season this year.. and also almost the same cars. 2 RC10s and a Tamiya Fox
Good luck
