they came from my dad's graphite car back in the early 90s, so they are definitely from a 6025 kit. He gave me the kit after using it once

they became rusted over the years, so I bathed them in CLR and forgotten about them and that's where the color comes from I THINK

I'm really liking the Gold with the super shiney carbon fibre - very classy! Reminds me of an Xray touring car chassis.

Will be interesting to hear it goes as well as it going to look

Rod hooked my up with the rest of the parts I needed, thanks Rod. I still need to get a few more things for my rear end, but here is how the front is looking.

Got some gold shocks, Lunsford turnbuckles, polished collars, and for the body post...I may have to hit up Atlas again for some more gold.

The back end isn't going quite as smooth as the front. My original plan was to have as much RPM parts on it as possible, then Atlas parts kept on appearing on the build , so now I'm not sure how important the RPM stuff is to the build anymore

Here are my issues

- I got 2 rear bulkheads, one black worlds, the other a white RPM with the wire lobe cut off. I am planning on dying the RPM and drilling it to fit on the worlds tower. I will see how each one looks then make a decision.

- The rear shocks I got from Rod were not supposed to be rear 10T shocks, so that's a quick fix once I get back to town.

- I have B4 hubs to accommodate the offset of modern wheels, yet not sure on which CVD bone to use. I noticed that JHarris has used rear B44 hubs and rear B44 CVAs with Team arms, so I could use that setup. I already have Kline arms, so I could just use them with the B4 hubs and B4 CVDs (I think) and possibly use the 10T rear shocks

Here is a photo of how the RPM bulkhead looks. I still got to drill out the top two screw holes, but I like this one better. This one is molded out in the bottom, which is lighter, cleans out debris better, and I can see more gold under there

For the rear shocks, just put 3 inner spacers on the shaft! Or fuel line, just like the original gold RC10's did, or use the 1.02 shafts Johnny suggested!

One more thing, after you put spacers in. Mount the shocks on the outermost hole of the arms and innermost hole of the tower!

good thing you are already mart, marter than me. the inner spacers are a good idea. The mounting positions, also a good idea, but due to the offset of the wheels, the outer arm hole is not accessible.

i'll see if the rig has any spacers that are smaller than my fist, if not add that to my list of things i need when i get back

Rod, I think I can also get one of those pretty black and gold Savox servos you are using on your 10T. It would look great in this car.

I think I am going to run a brushed system on this one. I have a Tekin FXR, which I had in my Losi Comp Crawler (now brushless), so I think I will use it on this build. I am looking for a good brushed motor though. I found some Reedy TI Modified motors on an Australian site, but they are expensive. They got 11- 14 double motors for $87.

I know whan turns and winds mean, but is a 11t double the same as a 22 single? I want something equivalent to a brushless 10.5t.

Any suggestions on a motor for this build?
