So, my wife deleted all the pictures of this build, thinking that I had already downloaded them. So all the step by step pictures are gone. I did however take pictures of where I am at with my phone. Sorry for the quality of the pics.

Your build is coming along nicely. I had wondered how the klein arms took dye, and it looks great. I dont like the way the klein arms look in virgin white. Your shocks look huge! What are they? Are they RC8 or some other eight scale buggy shocks?

The arms took the dye awesome. I got the dye just below a boil, set the arms in for around 15 minutes, dipped in cool water and repeated.

The shocks are B4 shocks from Team Blue Star. 90mm front (total length) fronts and 100mm rears. II adjusted the rears to 95mm and will probably adjust the fronts down 5mm as well. I think they look huge because of the orange springs. I'm going to find some black springs.

Closer to the end now. Picked up a set of FT B3 titanium turnbuckles as well as cups and balls and dust covers. Put it all together and got everything tuned and will put the tires on tomorrow.

Yeah. 0. Maybe a little out. All I did was get it as close to perpendicular as I could, and will fine tune once the tires are on.

toe on the rear would be done with inner mounts or hub carriers...the car is looking super. you really don't mess around....your yoke is a thing of beauty......

Thanks man! I like the Yoke alot, it was a testament of what NOT to do when making a car, it seemed like I did everything wrong, and paid way more than I should have to build that thing. This time, I went into it with much more research.

The LHS' near me have been wonderful as well, especially New Era (as usual) those guys have helped a lot with suggestions. Hobby Etc has an incredible parts archive of stuff not even listed on their site that, if you're really nice to them, they will take a look in them for you. (I got all the yoke parts though...)

I've bought both brushless systems from Hobby Etc as well. $103 fro the Reedy set up going in this one....

I think the only things original with this tub is the tub itself, the servo, rear bulkhead andrear sus arm mounts.

As much as I would love to, a couple things might interfere:

1. I have never raced an RC and probably would suck
2. I am going to be deployed to the GoM to oversee a clean up crew. At this point, its not a question of if, but when. Going to medical to get pre mobe done tomorrow. I'm going to bring the Yoke with me.
3. I don't have a cover for it yet (done anyway) and that is the next thing I want to conquer...

The bellcranks are RC10gt, and were pisser. Had to tap them to get them on, but the metal is pretty thin. I was surprised they didn't shatter. Thanks man. Now I just need to do a good job painting.....

Bigger question is what Tremont brew is that in the picture? didn't that brewery go out of business in 2001? Of course with all the buyouts nowadays...

Independence Day Summer Ale. Tremont is owned and operated by Shipyard Brewery. On a side note, a close friend of mine jus got hired as the safety director at the Anheiser Busch plant in Merrimack NH, and I am getting his beer allotment (he doesn't drink, how ironic.)
