Easiest place to find them is Tower, here's the link: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAV59&P=ML

Newb Q: Is that CVD a direct fit to the Team Car hubs? I may need to replace mine soon.

Just to add info to this thread for anyone who in the future is looking, here are the bearings for the tranny from the other thread mentioned above.
six gear bearings
5) 3/16 x 5/16 flanged
2) 3/16 x 5/16 plain
1) 1/4 x 3/8 flanged

and i f you want to put the bearings on the outside instead of the dust sheilds....

2) 3/8 x 5/8 plain (same as the stealth outdrive)

how important is the dust shield that covers the pinion and spur gear?

depends on where you run. if you run offroad, it's necessary. if you were running carpet, indoor, you could probably get away without one. asphalt, maybe, maybe not, depends on how dirty the track is.

it just keeps the bulk of dust and mud and stones out of your gear mesh, prolonging the life of the gears.

you can get repro's easily(and cheap) on ebay; I haven't checked lately, maybe Mrlexan offers them too.

problem... Team Associated's site listed a different response to what the necessary bearings are for the tranny...
29 Can you give me dimensions for all bearings to replace bushings in a 6-gear transmission?

You will need (2) 3/16 x 5/16 unflanged, (4) 3/16 x 5/16 flanged, (2) 3/8 x 1/4 flanged.
link to where i got the info...

this is what you need to do the 6 gear trans only (not the whole car):

six gear bearings
5) 3/16 x 5/16 flanged
2) 3/16 x 5/16 plain
1) 1/4 x 3/8 flanged

and if you want to put the bearings on the outside instead of the dust sheilds....

2) 3/8 x 5/8 plain (same as the stealth outdrive)

just because something is listed on rc10.com doesn't mean it's right.

What size allen wrench do I need to remove the screws that hold the bearings in on the black idle gears?
