i re-built the stealth and bought an extra set of gears.hopefully the old stealth should hold out, i'm not so sure about the slipper either.
i haven't had a chance to run it yet.maybe tomorrow.
Was wondering if you still have original box and manual?

Do you know the part number of your kit?

Yes I have both manual and box.
Part number is #7011.
It originally had the MSC and bronze bushings.

Good lookin' truck Acer. Need to get at least a little spec of dirt on that thing! ;)

I haven't had much trouble sourcing parts from Tower using the part numbers in the manual. You?

Only trouble I have is with the pimply faced kids in the hobby shop that think its outdated and don't want to help me look for anything because its not on their approved RC list.
JRX2 in the late 80s... have since come to my senses with the RC10T, yes of course it's vintage! Wife is always destroying her Tamiaya LunchBox to call me her personal mechanic a few more times. Enjoying the fresh build of an RJ Speed Digger.

Thanks, I'll run it in the dirt as soon as find somewhere without all those big rocks that like to gouge the bottom of the chassis.

Almost all of the new parts came from tower.
The geeks at the old local hobby shop laughed at it when I brought it in looking for spare parts, and they tried to sell me a Tmax or some car of that nature.
I walked out the door never to return.

That shop has been closed for at least 6 years now, and my old outdated truck is still running stronger than ever.
