I loved flat land. I must have been the first kid around that couple pull off a sweet Tail Whip and the master of the bar hop and ride. My buddies and i used to make the trip into Bondi Beach back when they had the huge vert ramp (well before skate parks were around) and watch the pro's doing killer Acid Drops and ride high above the coping.

Man do i wish I could find some pics of my old Haro now! I peiced my bike from parts bought over time. We were some of the first riders to get our hands on 48 spoke chrome plated ARAYA rims with SUZUKI hubs I think they were. Peregrine 5 peice handle bars, GT 3 peice crancks, SHIMANO platform peddles (back when they were still around) and I modified a set of Odysey PITBULL centrepull brake calipres for the rear wheel that mounted on the bottom tubes.

I didn't think it was, but I found this link. I'm not 100% sure it was ever officially released on DVD. There has been talk about it at IMDB for years. I doubt they would link to a bootleg though so I would have to think it's legit. If it is out it had to have happened less than a year ago.

So has anybody here picked up one of these yet? Quality check?

nice looking CW!

Maybe they can setup a BMX track at the next VONATS. They might want to have the paramedics standing by though

Cool thread...I've never seen BMX Bandits.
But Rad was, well.....rad! At the time anyway.
I'll probably end up getting another old school freesytle bike once my son is old enough to ride.
I didn't have a nice freestyle bike, mostly just a Profile frame and Huffy parts, so it really miffed me when my lil' sister was able to pick out a new bike for her birthday....a Kuwahara Bravo Pro....she was just trying to impress MY freinds who all had GT's and Haro's.
But I rode it more anyway.... That and I also skated, so the movie Thrashin' was a big influence.... 8)

This isn't the exact one, but same model bike I rode.....

You gotta be kidding me, your parents bought your sister a Kuwahara? Oh man, I'd still be upset. That thing is sweet, at least you got to ride it. I love Kuwaharas.

Here's a current pic of my JMC 24:

Yeah...right? It was the nicest bike in our household and she rarely rode it. I'd like to find another one...it was a neat bike...even with the "splatter" paint..haha!
I have enough hobbies to keep me busy, so BMX/Freestyle bikes are something I don't need to get into...
