How wide does it measure with the wheels on?

outlip of wheel measures about 9.25" or 235mm
ends of threaded portion which extend beyond face of wheel measure about 9.7" or 246mm
these wheels have more of an offset that i thought by looking at pictures, so they are narrower than i hoped they'd be, but totally acceptable to me. I think you could probably even push the width out about 2-3mm per side with a spacer now, and the hex would still engage properly.
ideally, it sounds like a lazer wheel, which has a flat face, would be a better fit, but i like the 5 spoke. as long as the rears fit and aren't too wide, I will be plenty happy.

If the mounting faces are the same width front and back and the rear ends up closer to 250mm you could take some rear wheels, cut off the inner tyre mounting bead to narrow them and stick them on the front.

yep, i thought of that too. I will have to see what they look like when I get 'em. I'm not running any sanctioned races, so it's no big deal to me, I just wanted to be able to run readily available tires.

Well, I got the cyber 10b rear wheels in. Unfortunately, they have more of an offset than I thought they would, so the overall width of the rear track is over 250mm. Something like 253mm or so. So it's very close, but over the roar limit.
for me, I don't care, I'm going to run as is. I'll post some pics of the width when I get a chance.....
