Let me know which one you think is best!!

I vote for the second version + color, minus the wing.

The wheels look great!
So I assume you like the silver rims with some color on the body and get rid of the wing. You don't like either style of wing?
Also the Red one is out of the picture now?
The second one was inspired by Brandon's Ultima he posted. I had to go another route when I also saw the sand rail buggy next to that lovely lady.

They both look great.

I think you'll have an easier time with finding a paint combination with the silver wheels. Polished aluminum just goes with everything. The red anodized wheels look good usually only with a similar, (red) or neutral color such as black, silver, white, or grey.

The wing looks good on a RC race buggy, but you don't see them on the real thing. If your goal is to make a sand rail replica, I'd leave the wing for another project.

The cage on the Ultima has a neat realistic look about it. In the 1:1 sand rail photo, just past the pretty girl, (who must be someone's grandmother by now) there is a buggy which has a similar look to an old school Ultima...

No I have not fully ventured there yet. It will still be in the Kyosho Ultima direction.

Knobbie tires look much better. Save the other tires for a monster truck build. Beautiful car!
