Re: #6002
Sad about the shocks, I was told they would be like the original. But other than that, happy for the release and the Turbo body! Is that Turbo Mirage 100% correct guys?

Re: #6002
Wow, it has a V2 slipper assembly.
This is like a Worlds car someone here might build for club racing.

You wanted 7075-T6?Phin wrote:Oh well. Kind of expected that.Chassis: Black hard anodized 6061-T6 machined aluminum
Not everything can be a Losi 22

I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

Re: #6002
it looks just like cars 40 other guys have already built on this site.
but, it's about what i expected.
kinda of surprised about the b4 front wheels and gt wide axles, but i guess i shouldn't be. though, getting proline to repop the b3 widebody fronts for the kit would've been cool.
looks like new cva style driveshafts, too? maybe a molded gear cover as well.

Not sure why I ordered one, but I did. It is pretty cool that it's a WOIN kit all in one box. I guess I'll save it for a future winter project.

I wanted 2024-T6 like the original World's chassis.

Re: #6002
This thread is on fire!
The tub up close looks like it was stamped or formed with the machining depressions in the bottom of the chassis. That was probably determined as a cost saving feature. The kit is only $279 NOW vs $337 BITD.
Another difference I notice was the shock towers don't look to be fiberglass impregnated. At least they are matte black for the forn and rear towers and CF weave for the trans brace like the original.
The rear bulkhead looks a little funny with all those extra ball joint mounting holes.
The silver aluminum trans case screws seems like it would have been an easy add back to this kit.
I wonder if Tower will limit the pre-order to two per customer.
