The Bullets were pretty heavy, but I'm not sure this helped much!

But does he say whether the improvement in performance is equal to, better, or worse than a perforated original?
I mean, does the rere being made in China have any impact on the effect of this simple mod?

Chassis were still made in USA. No difference there. I just mean that this was the chance to relive the childhood
without all the silliness that went along with it

Also, "two-piece"? Looks like the rear piece obstructs official holes in the front piece, so I bet they were both one-piece at a certain point.
