Ok, rather than show you spy shots of individual parts I decided to post a picture of Jason's car. Those with a keen eye and perhaps a zoom function will enjoy this picture.
Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
Ah yea I see that motor plate
. Would make a great upgrade for my WOIN RC10T and the Re-Re. Damn I had to ask for more sneak peaks now come the impatient waiting game.

Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
you guys have any concerns with the profiled carbon fiber, as far as getting frayed and 'scratchy? Recommend the CA seal around the edges?
Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
I haven't had that problem in the past, but I am thinking of going with the CA seal this time. What do recommend Jeff?jwscab wrote:you guys have any concerns with the profiled carbon fiber, as far as getting frayed and 'scratchy? Recommend the CA seal around the edges?

Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
Personally, I've never put CA on my carbon parts and I've never had an issue with them fraying. I won't be putting CA on these so maybe I can be the one to test durability. I suppose it's like insurance. It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. If you're worried and plan to spend time upside down, it doesn't hurt to add the CA just in case. Much like I haven't needed to use my volcano insurance yet, I'm gonna take the chance and assume I won't need CA insurance. You Family Guy fans will get the reference.

Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
The esc is a flow.
The motor plate is not drilled, but milled. If you look at the current JConcepts motor plate options that sport the honeycomb milling you will see the same machine work done to this one. The rear portion is curved and the edge is slightly profiled to show the aluminum color in a great contrast to the black anodize. It's worth noting that this is NOT a reworked AE part. This is a completely new part made exclusively for JConcepts. It is noticeably lighter than the factory part. Remember too, AE is offering a black chassis as a stand alone option so this motor plate will look great no matter which chassis you choose! I will post some pics of the one on my black chassis classic this weekend.

Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
I like the body! I think its cool... But I also have become a fan of cab forward bodies and WOULD buy one of those if they made one for the RC10 as well... I think they would sell a crap load of them!
Hell, IMA start doing it anyway, just for fun!

Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
Maybe a vintage Hirobo styled cab forward body... not a Kyosho blizzard styled cab forward body like modern styles though...
