Order 2628
Chassis 1506
Seems to be no correlation.
Here's the 40th between an A stamp on the left, and a C stamp on the right, the 40th has a luster to it, more of a gold hue than orange.
Am definitely glad I got one of them now, was worried about the 40th being a repeat of all the 2013 stories, the 40th seems solid and comparable to my originals.
Just noticed the 40th is drilled for the Stealth gearbox too, pretty cool of them to do that, and makes me wonder if something is coming next.
Nope, nothing coming next. This is it!
(shhh. I'm just trying to apply some reverse psychology and hope that I'm proven wrong - again.

Funny thing is that they are not selling at an inflated price and they are offering free shipping.
Yes, but they are afterall only one of two large distributors left. Would be pretty poor taste to price gouge their customers (although AE did that to customers who pre-ordered the CC) so I guess anything goes
What I do find a bit suspect is Amain only selling their available kits on eBay and not their website. Assuming best intentions here but I can't help but think they might have wanted to avoid giving customers reward points on these sales...

I previously bought a 2nd RC10CC direct from Liquid RC because of their reasonable prices, low shipping charge and no sales tax collection. It's nice having places like them and Michael's RC as options.

Man, I could not agree more!
Before I buy anything, I check Liquid first.
I just ordered a set of truck wheels and a spare Protech body (because they had them so why not). Great prices and super fast shipping.

Agree that LiquidRC has Super Fast shipping - usually same day. I’m in Mass and usually have my parts in 2-3 days from the order.
Now searching their website… that’s another matter
Just ordered another 40th from them today by the way. This site is getting expen$ive!

It's probably easier to list them on ebay rather than update the website.

The RC10T is seeming a nearer reality.

There's a guy selling a 6-pack of 40th's on ebay (apparently they come (6) to a case). Would be curious to open all (6) of these and look at the chassis numbers. He wants $2,800, or $466 per unit.

They're "Power Sellers".
Anyway, they had them list for about $3,300 yesterday.
So much for "limit, one per customer".

This is interesting to watch how fast the prices and stock, rise and fall.

Almost as volatile as the Dow during the past 3 1/2 years.

I got mine to enjoy.
Going to build and test run #1645.
I ordered direct from AE and had no issues. Came a lot sooner than expected.
I too saw the pack of 6 ($550 each). What I don't understand are all the cars on eBay that are priced in the $499 to $675 range. Why would someone buy it for $675 when the auction below it is $379?
I could easily see the car secure $499 to $675 over the next 6-12 months, but not now.
What is units produced according to the rumour mill? 4k-5k?

154 sold in 24 hours, glad I bought 100 of them in one go for 41,800.00 dollars.
Kidding aside, there were 32 sold in 24 hours early this morning. And I recall the AMain site saying only 13 were left in stock at the time. Later in the afternoon I had an update showing 154 were sold in 24 hours. I remember thinking there that was a big supply jump between this morning and this evening. Maybe a big shipment to the AMain warehouse...
