Right now mine looks like crap. I have like one of the two corners of a tiny dining room. So sad. I have stuff crammed in tuff box on one metal shelving unit and on a old 3 drawer dresser that all the drawers broke on. I'm not even going to give it enough glory to share pics. But it has improved some every thing use to be on one small round table. But I am in negotiations with my wife to redo part of our storage room for my new area.

Well, we've been in our house 8 months now, and I think I finally have all the furniture in my workshop/cave where I want it. Place still needs tidying up, but I think I can show you guys around... come on in...

Image

Left of/behind the door, we have the runners. Most common runners are the orange RC10, the Blackfoot, and the Fast Attack Vehicle. Wife's Midnight Pumpkin is on the top shelf.

Image

Next to that we have the display shelves. A couple of these still get run once in a blue moon, but the difference is that I clean them up after I run them. ;)
Work table below, just a cheapie Ikea table with a thrift-store desk lamp for now, but I have my eye on a nice workbench with a pegboard from Harbor Freight.

Image

To the right of that is the desk. Yes, that is a 2-XL on the top shelf. Yes, it works. Plastic drawers next to the shelves are full of disassembled project/parts cars.

Image

And finally, on the opposite wall, all the non-RC stuff. The 2 plastic tubs in the corner are full of miscellaneous RC odds and ends that I have to go through eventually; old radios that came with cars and whatnot. And no, I haven't made any progress on the Strat yet.

Image

This concludes our tour. Please pay a visit to our fine gift shop on the way out.

Due to the amount of time I spent today, straightening and sorting, I get the right to dig this thread out...

There's not a single car on this wall that I consider done, some need more help than others. Some I thought were done, but are set to be reborn. You know how it is. Note that each one has a dedicated shoe box over there on the right :D .

I've never really had a good work station so I'm excited that my Amish built barn arrived yesterday. We've been thinking about moving so I didn't want to put in the really big one I'd really like to have. This will do while we're still looking over our options. It's 12x16 with a high gabled ceilings. I had them leave the lofts out so it would be more open on the inside. I have an electrician coming out next week. It will be a while before I have it fully outfitted. I want to take my time so it's just the way I like it. It was pissing and pouring, but they got it in.

We have a big crawl space of which about 10% is concreted so there will be no storage inside the barn. It will strictly be a shop/escape.
