I agree with this. MIP should already know the numbers from that vote - if I remember rightly, the final tally was around 175 or so. However, MIP should have the final number...

I didn't vote on that thing (didn't follow the thread). I hope they'll make some extra.

No news could also be good news. Depending on how you look at it.

Maybe they're in full production mode and had to use the customer service folks to package all the re-release Legends kits.
What? Can't a big kid dream? :D

Here's what I got back when I emailed MIP's customer support.....

MIP is aware that there is an interest in the original 4X4 drive conversion kit for the RC10 that MIP had on the market several years ago. Yes, Eustace Moore has spoken to some of the racers that are wanting us to again put this kit back on the market. I will tell you that Eustace is interested in doing this, however at this time we do not have the time to get into that project. Our engineers have a long list of new products that they are currently working on at this time. With that said, after talking to Eustace he does hope to release MIP’s 4X4 conversion kit for the RC10. At this time we do not know when that will be.
We suggest that you keep an eye on our website miponline.com, because when that time comes it will be posted there.

Thank you for your interest in MIP products.

Best regards,
Sue Shlueter

Not to be too cynical, but I reckon that by the time they get round to doing it the fad may well have passed its peak and they may consider twice. In any event, it wont be for a long time I would imagine...

I would be interested for sure. The kits out there now are way out of my price range for sure.

That would be too cool. I would have to buy at least 3. Run 1 and stock a couple away.... Please keep us up to date. The original is very hard to come by and if you do find one you had better have deep pockets...

I would love a chain drive kit to fit to one of my RC10's.

We have had a vintage race meeting at the club i run in England every Xmas. If i had a 4wd RC10 i think that would generate a lot of interest.

When can i buy one?????????

I know this thread is long dead, however, I spotted that Daddeo was back on the forum and just wanted to ask how things were left between him and Eustace regard the MIP reproducing the 4x4 conversion kit.

Daddeo - if you read this perhaps you could let us know.

Thanks.
